To
commemorate the centenary of flight, albeit four years
late, Bill Tan constructed a model of the Wright Flyer
from a Monogram kit.
The
hardest part was the stringing of the tension 'cables'
from cotton threads. The project took several hours in
total and the model now hangs in company with four
hundred others!
These are
hung on every spare bit of wall space and divided into
country of origin: US, UK, Russia, German Luftwaffe, US,
UKWW2, Canada, Japan.... all 1/72 scale so that
comparisons can be made.
